How Scoring & Rotation Work
- Rotation
- Every round, players get a new partner and new opponents. Across a full session you'll share a court with most of the group — no fixed teams, no cliques.
- Scoring
- Points are tracked per player, not per team. When your pair wins a game, both of you bank the points individually, so your result carries over even when your partner changes next round.
- Match length
- Rounds are short and fixed — usually races to a set number of points rather than full sets — so the group moves through many rounds in one session instead of a couple of long matches.
- Determining the winner
- At the end of the session, individual points are added up across every round. Whoever has the most points overall wins — your partner for any single round doesn't affect anyone else's total.
- Larger groups
- Standard sessions run up to 24 players across the available courts. Bigger groups split into parallel Americanos running side by side, with a combined final standings table at the end.

Mixed Partner
Rotating partners with mixed-gender pairings each round — social, balanced, no fixed teams.
Fixed Partner
Keep the same partner all session, rotating through different opponents — a bit more competitive, still all-play.
